In this video we are going to talk about fasted cardio/ exercise. Lots of people always ask me about this topic so I decided to make a video and explain it to you all. There are some great benefits to doing your work out in this state, but remember that there are many ways to lose weight so if you don't like this method that's fine. You can still lose weight with different methods.
So why is it good to do fasted cardio for fat lose. Well lets look at the rules when it comes to losing weight.
1. Eat less calories.
2. Move more.
That is it. That is how you lose weight. No matter what anyone else tells you. This is what it comes down to. Eat less. Move more.
So when you are doing fasted cardio you don't eat for a period of 16 hours. During that time you are going to sleep for 8 hours and when you wake up in the morning you are going to do your work out at the gym or outside. You are going to be running off of the fuel you had the day before. Your body is going to burn off that extra calories that it didn't finish while you were asleep.
While all this is going on your body is looking for fat to use as fuel since you have no carbs in you at the moment. So areas that are hard to burn like your lower belly, your hips, butt will all be used as fuel for you to run off of. Sound great right. Right, now this brings me to my next point.
DRINK A TONE OF WATER!
If you are not drinking lots of water then you are doing this whole thing wrong. You must and I repeat must have lots of water so that you don't pass out.
Also you have to remember that diet is and always will be king. If you burn 500 calories while doing fasted cardio and then you go and eat 600 calories of food that has no fiber or health benefits, well guess what. Your fat again.
