Hey this Mark with Old Spartan Fitness and I wanted to quickly tell you why I started this blog.
About 2 years ago, I found myself with a 40 inch waist and 30 pounds overweight. I knew the weight had crept up on me but the waistline measurement was a shocker. I used to wear 34 jeans and had always been pretty fit.
I decided to do something about it. I knew how to be active lifting weights and other types of exercise because I have always been athletic and into outdoor activity. It was the eating side of the equation that needed adjustment so that is where I focused my search for the answer.
And I found the answer. I learned how to eat right and combined with an active lifestyle and consistent exercise program, I am back in 34 jeans again.
The amazing thing is that "what to do" to get healthy and fit again is very simple to understand. It may be a little difficult for some to implement since we are all humans with our ingrained bad habits but I am convinced anyone can learn the principles of a healthy lifestyle and truly change themselves for the better.
