And I did this through diet pills – pharmaceutical ones at first, then over-the-counter weight-loss supplements as the side effects from pharmaceutical pills, such as insomnia and bladder spasms, grew progressively worse. Then, years later, I discovered a supplement called clinically tested garcinia cambogia. When I tried it, the weight came off just fine. I couldn’t stop eating it. There must have been something else to it.
He started by altering his diet and lifestyle in small ways – quit eating processed foods, stopped drinking sugary beverages. And he added in more physical activity by walking, hitting the gym or pursuing any number of sporting disciplines. I’m trying to dimensionalise my healthy living so that it IS enjoyable. I find a way to eat the things that I want to eat, but in moderation; stay active in ways that I like; etc. etc.
He also set reachable goals and gave himself rewards as he achieved them. In other words, he kept himself moving forward, and encouraged himself to continue, by celebrating each small feat along the way. In the end, those small celebrations, with their own unique gratification, helped pull Gardell through the dreaded plateaus and periods of stasis that are all too common on the path to long-term weight loss.
