@blackbottomsouthernkitchen is a great place if you like St.Louis Style Ribs. Honestly I really liked the food, the portions are big and the price is extremely reasonable. And it’s Woman Owned! It is in North Hollywood so if you want a lot of heat....then you’ll have to use hot sauce.
The ribs weren’t fall of the bone but they were juicy and not dry at all. You could also tell they were charcoal grilled, which is the only way I really like them.
The Gumbo wasn’t slimy thank goodness but could have used more rice. I did love the price, 3.99 for a small cup! If it was in my neighborhood I would eat it almost everyday.
The fried chicken was good but I prefer mine a little more cooked. I love that you get two sides and Jalapeño Cornbread.....but I never got the cornbread 🥴
Overall 7 out of 10, mostly cause the Mac and cheese had no cheesy top or cheese pull and that’s my personal preference and I like saucier greens.
