It’s recommended that you drink a glass of water first thing in the morning to help get things started. It’s also suggested you drink a glass of water right before eating meals to help make you feel full. Replacing your regular sugary beverages with water is a great way to reduce your caloric intake.
Get Enough Rest
Weight loss simply doesn’t occur when you’re sleep-deprived. This is because lack of sleep can cause your hormones to go awry, increase insulin levels, which in turn might cause you to gain weight and build belly fat, and slow down your metabolism. Losing weight is about having the energy to engage in other calorie-burning activities, so prioritising rest and recovery can help you in the weight-loss process. Sleeping more can actually help you lose weight. According to sleep experts, adults should aim to get 7–9 hours of quality sleep each night, although doctors say you should do what’s best for you. Create a bedtime ritual and routine, stop having caffeine after 2pm, and avoid electronic devises at least an hour before bed to help improve the quality of your sleep and aid you in your weight loss.
