your weight loss journey. Eat your protein FIRST at every
meal. Aim for a sequence of protein, vegetables, fruits, and
then carbohydrates. We recommend eating at least 30g of
protein at each meal. You can calculate your own protein
goals by aiming for 1g of protein per lb of your ideal body
weight.
Resistance Training: The CDC recommends 150 minutes of
moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle
strengthening activity each week. Please discuss with your
PCP before starting any new exercise plan.
Alcohol: GLP-1s may reduce your cravings for alcohol. If you
choose to drink, do so in moderation - 2 drinks or less a day
for men or 1 drink or less a day for women. Drinking less is
better for health and weight loss than drinking more.
