Losing weight is honestly not that difficult, you just need to educate yourself on what really works and simply stick to the plan. The real problem is that the "big wigs" in the diet industry don't want you to figure this out...How else can they sell you the shakes, and the magic pills and potions. It is their goal to keep you running around in circles and hoping from one diet to the latest diet fad. It's a business folks!
There I got that off my chest, with that said, here are a few tips that will help you turn your body into a fat burning machine.
Tip#1- Make smart food choices. What do I mean by this?
Keep away from bad carbohydrates like products made of white flower such as white bread, pasta, sugars, and rice. Consuming too much of these sugars will cause your blood sugar levels to rise, slowing down your body's ability to burn fat and not to mention increase your appetite for more sweets. Also stay away from fried fatty foods...French fries and fried chicken are not very helpful to your waist line.
In its place substitute these "bad" carbs with "good" carbs such as whole grain and whole wheat products. Add in more fruits and vegetables to your every day meals. Making these simple changes will get you on the fast lane to finally get rid of that stubborn fat!
Tip #2 - We as a society have been accustomed to eating three meals a day... Breakfast, lunch, and dinner instead of doing this try having 6 small meals throughout your day. By doing this your body has a less chance of feeling hungry. When your body feels hungry it automatically begins to slow down your metabolism and you don't want that.
Tip #3- Water, water, water...drink lots of it! Over 75% of your body is made up of water. It is very important to keep it well hydrated. You should consume at least 8 to 10 glasses of water on a daily basis and never substitute water with soda, juice, or any sugary dink. Water is very helpful in speeding up your metabolism, which is what you want. Increasing your metabolism is one of the fastest way to lose fat.
Tip #4 -- I saved the best tip for last...this may be a bit shocking but the most effective method to changing your body and turning it into a 24 hour fat melting machine is proper strength training. I'm not talking about bulking up or spending hours at your local gym...Our aim here is to add lean muscles to your body which in turn will cause your body to burn more fat as energy to sustain your new muscles.
Did you know that one pound of lean muscle requires approximately 40 to 50 calories per day just to keep it alive...Imagine how many calories you would have to burn if you simply add 20 pounds of muscle. You would automatically burn 800 to 1000 calories per day to sustain you new muscle even while you sleep... this is by far the best and fastest way to lose fat that I know.
