1. Eat at maintenance or a slight surplus – Don’t cut calories; instead, fuel your body and aim for at least 2 grams of protein per kilo of body weight.
2. Focus on steps, not cardio – Aim for 8-10k steps a day for overall activity, and save your energy for lifting.
3. Weight train with intensity – Lift 3-5 times a week, pushing each set to within 2-3 reps of failure. Compound lifts are key.
Patience is everything. Results take time, but stay consistent and you’ll see the change.
