this scar tissue is on the surface of the erectile tissue of the penis and it is very inelastic so it affects the penis in many ways in terms of shortening curvature with erections difficulty achieving and maintaining erections and patient and partner discomfort
peyronie's disease is thought to be caused by single or repetitive microscopic trauma
to the penile tissue this results in a scar that is hard to make and hard to break
this scar is formed by an abnormal wound healing process combined with a genetic predisposition
