I’ve been in a funk this year, feeling unmotivated and not like myself. I recently got my hair done, which has boosted my confidence and made me want to get back to creating content.
I’ve struggled with binge eating, and I only recently realized it could be a serious issue. I used to think of binge eating as just part of a cycle that includes purging, but now I see it as a disorder or addiction in itself.
I sometimes wish I could purge after eating to control my weight, but I’ve never been able to throw up easily. Instead, I’ve felt comforted by the act of eating, which has led me to obsess over food.
A recent realization about food addiction, especially from a sermon I heard, has made me more aware of my problem. I’m hoping that starting GLP-1 medication will help reduce my constant food cravings and “food noise.”
Despite trying to eat healthy and exercise, I often end up binge eating at night, particularly craving carbs. My eating pattern has improved slightly recently, but I still struggle with controlling my binge eating urges
