In this comprehensive breakdown, we will explore the Keto Now Episode and it’s most talked about products and deals.
The Pitches
Across The Keto Now Episode, a number of entrepreneurs pitched their keto-friendly products in hopes of getting deal from the sharks. This included a line of keto meal delivery services, a new keto snack bar, and more.
One of the most pushy pitches ever presented on Keto Now was a young entrepreneur who had recently launched a line of keto supplements, which helped her ‘keto-transform’ her health, she says. The sharks are awed by how committed she is to the keto lifestyle and want to know all about her product.
Another shared her keto cookbook with simple-to-follow recipes for the keto diet. She said her book would help others eat well on keto. Those Sharks loved her book and how much the entrepreneur knew about the keto diet. It looked so simple for them to follow the book and eat well, too!
The Deals
Having heard the pitches, the sharks are queued up to make deals with the entrepreneurs. First comes an offer of money in exchange for equity in the keto meal delivery service, which the entrepreneur gratefully accepts. The same investor subsequently offers money in exchange for equity in the keto snack startup. The fasting ice-cream offer is the last of the day, and the ramen-noodle entrepreneur ‘shark tank’.
Another startup founder, hoping to get a bite from Shark Tank, was proposed three offers for her line of keto supplements, which are complex formulations of food or drinks that help curb hunger and promote weight loss. She eventually went with two of the sharks who shared her beliefs for her product. The duo sharks were happy to work together and expand the distribution of the supplements worldwide.
The Keto Now Episode of Shark Tank was a huge success. Overall, thirteen business owners made a deal with the sharks for keto-friendly products. Shark Tank featured 13 entrepreneurs with Keto now products and gave a great platform to individuals interested in the ketogenic lifestyle.
