Try this workout on a stationary bike: *Set the timer to 20 minutes. * Perform two minutes at a moderate intensity (RPM 80, moderate gear). * Do a 30 second HIIT burst (RPM 100+, high gear). Rest for as long as you need to recover fully before your next interval burst. Many people make the mistake of going again before they are fully recovered, resulting in a sub-maximal HIIT burst, which defeats the whole object of it.
