In this video, Dr. Berg talks about his opinion on Alkaline Diet. Every different part of your body has a different pH. The blood pH is between 7.35 – 7.45, anything above 7 is alkaline and anything below 7 is acid. The colon, urine, and stomach pH are acidic.
The important thing to know: The pH factor in foods is NOT what makes a food healthy – it is the nutrients in that food.
One of the big functions of having different pH in different parts of the body is to allow things to flow or be transported in different directions. There are just as many symptoms and diseases that occur in an alkaline state as there do in an acid state.
