Super Simple Baked Cabbage
INGREDIENTS:
1 Head of Green Cabbage
3 TBSP Aquafaba (liquid from a can of chickpeas)
Salt (any kind will do OR use no salt seasoning blend if salt free)
Fresh Ground Pepper (3 turns)
***If you use Veggie Broth instead of aquafaba use a little more liquid so the cabbage doesnât dry out!! To me it turns out best when aquafaba is used!!
Directions:
***Preheat oven 375 degrees
1. Cut up cabbage into large strips or 3-4 inch chunks
2. Spread cabbage onto parchment lined baking sheet
3. Sprinkle Aquafaba or Veggie Broth onto cabbage and toss with hands to get Aquafaba evenly distributed onto cabbage
4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of cabbage and then toss cabbage one more time with hands to distribute salt and pepper throughout
5. Place cabbage into oven, bake for 25 minutes
6. Take cabbage out and move around with spatula or fork (the cabbage should be getting soft and slightly browned on some pieces )
7. Place cabbage back in oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes
8. Take out and enjoy!!
